We are currently preparing for departure. The home is in contract with closing set to happen on Oct 9th. We will be moving all of our belongings on Oct 6-8. Already the CRX has been taken to storage for the 2 year time period. All flight tickets have been purchased and we are counting down the days before we leave. I am planning to measure and weigh the family before we go so we can compare the numbers when we return. Erin will be staying behind with her father to prepare to travel to Australia. They will live there for an unknown amount of time. We will plan to visit her while we are in Japan. It is a shorter trip than from the US and on the same time zone. That makes for no jet lag. We will only have to deal with the backwards flushing toilets. The family has been taking Japanese language class for a little over 4 months. Progress has been a little slow, but I am sure it will pick up after we arrive in Japan. Our family names in Katakana are: Larry ラーリ, Katie カーテイ, Erin エリン, Liam リーアム, and Colleen コーリーン. I will try to add an update before the computer is packed and shipped. Once that happens I will not be able to update until we are safely in Japan.
